In its latest incarnation, Vittorio's Restaurant & Wine Bar in Amityville has added brunch to the repertoire.
The 12-year-old restaurant also has retooled to emphasize its steakhouse menu even more.
Brunch is offered on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The wide-ranging, a la carte choices include chicken and waffles, a croque madame, "cannoli French toast," meatball sliders, a Reuben sandwich, a T-bone steak with eggs and cocktails from Bellini and mimosa to Bloody Mary and screwdriver. Figure $9 to $20; add $5 per drink.
Steakside, Vittorio's sends out dry-aged beef, including a porterhouse for two for $85; New York strip steak, $35; rib-eye, $34; and T-bone, $33. The house's "classic veal Parm" is $30; veal chop Valdostana, $41. "Sunday sauce" with meatballs, sausage, short ribs and rigatoni is $26.
