The concept of the fixed-price and the meal deal fit with Philippe East Hampton about as easily as restraint and modesty attach to "Real Housewives of Anywhere."

But in its second season, the pricey, very good Asian eatery that's a very summery part of the Philippe Chow group is offering a $29, three-course, fixed-price menu Sunday through Thursday. BUT ... before you ignite the fireworks, know that it isn't available this Sunday, July 4; or on Sunday, Sept. 5, during Labor Day weekend.

If and when: The appetizer choices include chicken, beef or vegetable wraps; steamed vegetable dumplings; chicken or beef satay; or a house salad. Main dishes: Beijing chicken, crispy beef, steamed Chilean sea bass, green prawns and a steamed vegetable platter, with or without tofu. Sorbets and ice creams to conclude, along with either coffee or tea.
