The dish on Long Island's restaurant and food scene.

Smokin’ Wolf BBQ & More, which opened last year in the former East Hampton digs of Turtle Crossing, has now relocated a couple of doors west.  The place is mainly a takeout offering seating at outdoor picnic tables. Chef-owner Arthur Wolf — who was also the chef for Turtle Crossing — said he's seeking approval for 16 indoor seats as well as a beer and wine license.

The barbecue spot will remain open year-round, with lunch and dinner offered daily. The midday menu, which runs Monday to Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., features such items as a Buffalo chicken salad or crabcake sandwich for $9.75. On the regular menu: a barbecued pulled pork quesadilla ($14), fish tacos ($17) and a sampler with ¼ barbecued or roasted chicken, 2 ribs and grilled corn on the cob plus cornbread ($19). There's also a roster of dressed-up  hot dogs and, for dessert, Hershey’s ice cream.
