Almond in Bridgehampton is a French-New American spot. It has a fixed-price brunch and a la carte dinner. Brunch is 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at $45 per person. Children's menu also available. Main dishes include smoked Easter ham, duck confit, leg-of-lamb French dip, sausage and eggs, warm Nicoise salad, cured and smoked fish.
Eric's Italian Bistro in Mineola is preparing a three-course, $44.95 fixed-price menu, as well as a children's menu, plus a la carte dishes. Open from 1 p.m. Dishes include eggplant rollatine, roasted vegetable ravioli, lasagna, meatballs and sausage, pork Milanese, hanger steak pizzaiola, and shrimp oreganata.
Taste 66 at Carlyle on the Green in Farmingdale will serve brunch, $55 for adults and $20 for children less than 12 years old, at four seatings: 11 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. Dishes take in omelets and other breakfast items, roasted beet salad, seafood salad, cold antipasti, leg of lamb, and ham.
Thom Thom in Wantagh, a steak-and-seafood specialist, cooks up a $27.95 lunch buffet from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., as well as dinner from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. The fare includes stations for steak, ham and omelets; "Easter eggs" deviled, Benedict and scrambled; shrimp cocktail; pork-and-scallion dumplings; Scottish salmon teriyaki.
Vitae in Huntington offers a $34.95 fixed-price lunch from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., and an a la carte dinner menu. The lunch selections include crab cakes, "duck carbonara," macaroni and cheese, Caesar salad, roast leg of lamb, pan-roasted Scottish salmon, housemade doughnuts, and gelati.
