On Friday, some of Manhattans best-known chefs will gather to support their friend Gerry Hayden, partner and erstwhile chef at Southolds North Fork Table and Inn, who was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrigs disease) about two years ago. (Read more about Hayden and the restaurant here.) Tom Colicchio, Daniel Boulud, Bobby Flay and Michael White will all speak at a dinner held at Cipriani Le Specialita, a New York outpost of Venices celebrated Harrys Bar.

This will be the 15th annual Family Dinner sponsored by Project A.L.S., a nonprofit devoted to raising funds for ALS research. In addition to honoring Hayden, there will be medical updates from the organizations researchers.
