The dish on Long Island's restaurant and food scene.

When Four Food Studio closed earlier this month, Long Island lost one of its most stylish interiors, by award-winning designer Karim Rashid — in addition to a dependable source of New American cuisine.  In preparation for the restaurant’s revamp, the owners are auctioning off not only much of the kitchen equipment (including the cotton-candy machine), but also china, flatware, glassware, chairs, bar stools, the lounge’s settees and tables, and all of the outdoor furniture from the “beach on Route 110.”
