The dish on Long Island's restaurant and food scene.

The bbq biz on LI seems to be one big revolving door. With that in mind, say goodbye to Ruby’s Famous BBQ Joint in East Meadow, which has served its last round of pulled pork .

You may remember that the Singh Hospitality Group first opened Ruby’s after ditching its previous enterprise, Louis & Marxx Steak House.

Be on the lookout for the debut of Ristorante Besi, which corporate chef Dave Salony described as serving “casual contemporary Italian fare” (average check $25) with an emphasis on “handcrafted artisan pizzas.” An additional bar menu will feature such items as meatball sliders on garlic knots and Italian style chicken wings.

Maybe this time, it will fly.
