She has put together a consistent, very accessible, flavorful repertoire. Her menu changes frequently, reflecting the season and the market, he writes.

Joan Reminick visits Joes Crab Shack, a national seafood chain with locations in Westbury, Riverhead and Oceanside. At Westbury, she found a perpetual party ... where the scene, more than the food, is the main attraction. Here, the decor is wacky-beachy, the din deafening and the wait for a table often more than an hour.
