The dish on Long Island's restaurant and food scene.

Every Saturday and Sunday through the fall, Joe’s Garage and Grill of Riverhead (recently named one of Newsday's top 10 gastropubs and top 100 restaurants)  will have a food stand set up outside the tasting room of Macari Vineyards in Cutchogue. Weather permitting, of course. (Macari Vineyards was recently named the state's "winery of the year" at the 2014 New York Wine & Food Classic).

While you sip local wines, you can order from a roster that includes such items as chef Brian Burner’s Tokyo Drift sliders featuring smoked pork belly with kimchee on a steamed Asian bun ($12); grilled lollipop lamb chops ($14), lobster roll sliders ($15), roast Long Island corn ($5) and a banana cheesecake burrito ($10).

Macari Vineyards is at 24385 Rte. 25, Cutchogue, 631-734-7070 or 631-298-0100, macariwines.com.
