Kyma, one of the best new restaurants of 2013, hosts a New Year's Eve party, with an a la carte menu from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m and a fixed-price $95 one starting at 9 p.m.
The Roslyn restaurant will offer a complimentary Champagne toast at midnight, plus noisemakers and hats. Appetizers will be served family-style. Guests can pick one item for each course.
Selections include Greek salad, Greek spreads, grilled octopus, traditional Greek spreads; whole grilled lavraki, or imported branzino; grilled center-cut swordfish; grilled giant tiger shrimp; sesame-crusted tuna; baked lamb shank; and a 16-oz. charcoal-grilled rib-eye steak.
Desserts include baklava, Greek yogurt, fresh fruit and walnut cake.
