Hours at the St. James restaurant are 5 to 11 p.m. today and tomorrow; 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday. Starting Monday, Nisen 347 will serve lunch from noon to 3 p.m. and dinner from 5 to 10 p.m. every day. It's situated in the former site of Ara International Grille & Bar, off Nesconset Highway, Route 347.

The menu at Nisen 347 is similar to the one at Nisen Sushi in Commack, where colorful sushi rolls vie with cold appetizers such as lobster tacos and crisp tuna tortilla; hot ones including Kobe-style sliders and miso black cod; and kitchen main courses that take in rack of lamb and filet mignon.

Nisen Sushi is at 5032 Jericho Tpke. in Commack; 631-462-1000.
