Akebono Sushi Fusion is now serving up rainbow rolls, General Tsos chicken and shrimp tempura in the recently vacated digs of Azuma Sushi Asian Fusion on Broadway Greenlawn in Huntington.
Head sushi chef David Li offers such items as spicy tuna tartare ($11), yellowtail jalapeno roll ($5.50), Hawaii roll with black pepper tuna and mango ($13.95) and a sushi dinner ($18). From chef Chun Lung Huangs kitchen: Thai tom yum soup with shrimp ($5), rock shrimp ($9), tofu teriyaki ($12), Malaysian red curry beef ($15) and pad Thai with shrimp ($12).
Interestingly, plans are under way for Azumas reopening in a strip mall across the road from this new restaurant.
