The Park Sports Bar & Grill just opened in the former Long Beach digs of Corbin & Reynolds. The 250-seat place has more than 40 big screen TVs, as well as 32 beers on draft. In the kitchen is consulting chef Marc Anthony Bynum, who holds the same position at Cue Nine in Levittown. Formerly, Bynum helmed the kitchen at Tellers in Islip and Rookies Sports Club in Huntington.
Bynum said he will be cooking at the restaurant during its early months. He named as signature items “bangin'” shrimp, served with a sweet chili sauce ($11.95), bacon and apple flatbread ($12.95), house-smoked St. Louis ribs ($18.95 half rack; $22.95 full rack), and duck-fat-fried Brussels sprouts, as well as similarly fried pommes frites (both are $6). A signature burger is topped with barbecue brisket and comes on a pretzel bun ($14.95).
