The dish on Long Island's restaurant and food scene.
Is there a Bloody Mary or a mimosa in your future? You might want to ask psychic Mary Drew, guest performer at the Saturday, Oct. 3, brunch at George Martin's Grillfire in Syosset. Drew will be roaming the dining room and doing readings for those to whom she feels drawn.
Which means that there's no guarantee that going to the event, at $65 a person, will ensure you get a personal reading. What is foreseeable is that you'll be served a three-course meal (with complimentary Bloody Mary or mimosa) that kicks off with a choice of soup or salad, followed by such entree options as bananas Foster French toast, banana Nutella pancakes, a Black Jack burger (with Jack cheese and candied bacon) and a chicken Caprese sandwich. Finish with either a brownie sundae or cookie sliders.
And, perhaps, some idea of where life will take you.Brunch on LI
