It's Pizza of the Week time: Meet the S’mores Sweet Pizza. Nonna Messina’s pie with Nutella, marshmallow and graham cracker crunch is made for sharing, says Daniele Messina, co-owner and partner at Red Tomato Pizza in East Norwich.

It’s an adaptation of an afternoon snack made in Naples by his grandmother, Antoinetta Messina, who home-schooled six children and needed to feed their sugar cravings.

At Red Tomato, the pie is “popular with kids, but the parents always steal a slice," Messina says. Does anyone ever come in and eat the whole pie, made in the wood-fired oven? “Sometimes, but it’s really just to satisfy a sweet tooth, and it’s not overwhelming,’’ Messina says.

An 8-inch pie is $9, 12-inch pie is $13.
