The dish on Long Island's restaurant and food scene.

Stonewalls, the two-star restaurant at The Woods at Cherry Creek Golf Course, now offers a $27.50, fixed-price, three-course dinner menu. It's in addition to the a la carte menu. The prix-fixe is available every night during the regular dinner service.

Chef Guy Peuch's choices include a salad of beefsteak tomatoes, Vidalia onions and asparagus; another of romaine, bacon, egg and anchovies with a Parmesan tuile; terrine of Crescent Farm duck; pork chop sauteed with white wine and mustard; veal forestiere, finished with mushrooms and Madeira; sauteed calf's liver with red onion; carrot cake; and Tahitian vanilla caramel custard. For a $5 supplement, you can have the house's popular crab cake with red pepper coulis and braised fennel.
