Shake Shack has two new limited-edition eats that debuted Friday, June 3, at its restaurants across the country, and we’ve tried them both out of the gate. Here’s the rundown:

The Bacon CheddarShack

The backstory: Available as a single ($6.89) or a double ($9.89) the Bacon CheddarShack is dressed up with Niman Ranch bacon and a lavish serving of aged Wisconsin cheddar sauce.

The first iteration of this burger, according to Eater NY, was in May 2015 when the ParkBurger, as it was then known, was launched to coincide with the reopening of Shack Shack’s original Madison Square location. Back then it featured Vermont rather than Wisconsin cheddar

Take note, travelers: there’s a bit of a delay at the JFK locations, which will serve the CheddarShack shortly after today’s debut.

The takeaway: For those who prefer the most decadent burger on a menu, this is for you.

The Blueberry Pie Oh My

The backstory: Available as a concrete or a shake as a single ($4.59) or a double ($6.79) the dessert features vanilla custard and pie from Brooklyn’s cult pie pureyor, Four & Twenty Blackbirds.

It’s the first collaboration between Shake Shack and the shop, but not the first time Shake Shack has made this dessert, as it has made seasonal appearances, albeit with less exalted pie, since at least 2012.

The takeaway: It’s a hefty serving of summer. . . but you’re better off with a chocolate malt.
