The dish on Long Island's restaurant and food scene.

Southampton Publick House is celebrating St. Patrick's Day with a combo of traditional Irish dishes and some contemporary additions.

The dishes range from beef-stout soup and corned beef-and-potato spring rolls to corned beef and cabbage with stewed red bliss potatoes and carrots; smoked-salmon wrapped cream cheese and scallions with capers and onions to a Reuben sandwich; shepherd's pie and lamb stew to pretzel-crusted cod with a mustard-and-ale beurre blanc. For dessert: house-made Bailey's Irish Cream cheesecake. The eatery also will be offering its own cream stout pints on tap. Main dishes are $9 to $17; appetizers, $5 to $10. There also will be live music starting at 6 p.m.
