If fried chicken is important to you, there’s news worth noting in Huntington.

Storyville American Table on Green Street has a new Louisiana-born chef at the stick, Bobby Bouyer, and he’s helping revive Storyville’s all-you-can-eat fried-chicken dinners on Sunday nights, according to general manager Doreen Pagano.

Starting Sunday, June 25, Storyville customers can stuff themselves with fried chicken — plus mashed potatoes and coleslaw — between 5 and 9 p.m. for $21.95.

And Bouyer’s hefty rendition of a flattened, fried chicken breast on a waffle, which comes with country gravy, maple syrup and wilted collards, is now on Storyville’s regular menu for $19.95.

Storyville is attached to Finley’s of Huntington, and its menu is available throughout both spaces.

Before joining the 4-year-old Storyville, Bouyer was chef at Mineola’s Bicuits & Barbecue (which he helped open), and has cooked in New York City, Chicago and New Orleans. He replaces Storyville’s former executive chef, Brian Finn.
