The Rolling Spring Roll in Farmingdale just rolled out new Sunday hours. Long Island’s only Vietnamese restaurant, previously closed that day, is now open throughout the week. Which means that you can get a classic banh mi sandwich or a bowl of pho (Vietnamese noodle soup) just about any time you want.
“I wanted to take the place to the next level,” said chef-owner Joe Bui, who said that he added the Sunday hours to meet customer demand. In a few weeks, Bui said, he expects to introduce a dessert menu. He is also waiting on a beer and wine license.
FYI: The restaurant now accepts credit cards, a change from when it first opened.
Sunday hours are from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
