Memories of the now-closed Torcellos in East Northport always include its grand pasta e fagioli. The thick, rich savory prosciutto-enriched macaroni and bean soup, sprinkled with freshly grated Parmesan, warmed many on chilly days.
For now, that soup is out of reach. The pizza-pasta-parm restaurant was located in the Elwood Shopping Center on Jericho Turnpike.
