So satisfying, the crepes I had for lunch recently at the new Fresco Creperie in Williston Park (an offshoot of the Long Beach original) .

A hearty favorite was the “country style” crepe, its filling of ground sausage, sliced potatoes caramelized onions and Cheddar melding beautifully, everything wrapped in a thin pancake (made with a touch of buckwheat flour) and lightly browned ($9.25). The filing in a pal's chicken and spinach crepe ($9.25) was fresh and verdant.

For dessert: a sweet cinnamon apple crepe, served with vanilla ice cream. was $6.50.
