REVIEW

Sometimes, the view from the dining room provides the best dessert. Here are three restaurants with fine food plus a serene, summery backdrop.

PRIME, 117 New York Ave., Huntington; 631-385-1515

Perched at Huntington Harbor, Prime is accessible by car or boat. Sample the steaks and chops, sushi rolls and shellfish cocktails. The peppercorn-crusted tuna, crabcake, shrimp-and-lobster wontons and lobster roll also get your attention.

THE BELL & ANCHOR, 3253 Noyac Rd., Sag Harbor; 631-725-3400

That's Mill Creek in the distance. Summery, streamlined and very social, TB&A attracts you with brandade of salt cod, the combo of pork belly, oyster and kimchee, pan-roasted local black bass, steamed lobster, grilled sirloin burger and the pan-roasted Duroc pork chop.

BISTRO CITRON, 1362 Old Northern Blvd., Roslyn; 516-403-4400

The pond-side bistro has a few tables with water views. It's a busy, convivial spot, recommended for dishes such as the roast chicken for two, salade Niçoise, frisée aux lardons and steak frites. The Saturday special is braised short ribs.
