A tank of impossibly large koi dominates the dining room of this longstanding Chinese restaurant, a fixture in the area for close to two decades. Owner Che Yu is a hospitable host; the waiters and waitresses are sweet and accommodating.
Highlights of a recent dinner included fine wonton soup, crisp shrimp toast, meaty glazed spare ribs and satisfying chicken with broccoli. Tangerine beef was tender, if oversauced.
For dessert, it was hard to beat the vanilla, chocolate and pistachio ice cream, served with fortune cookies, of course.Hours: Monday to Thursday, 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday, 11 a.. to 11:30 p.m., Sunday, noon to 10:30 p.m. Reservations: Accepted Accessibility: Yes
