There's some imagination at this Italian eatery, where you get all the usual stuff and a few surprises, too.

Service is good and the style is unpretentious. The staff knows what it's doing, and the approach is free of attitude. They prepare a tasty pizzetta with grilled vegetables and goat cheese, respectable fried calamari, sizable salads. The better main courses include tagliatelle alla Nocello, which translates into a snappy tomato sauce with shrimp; and the grouper atop greens, with new potatoes and a tomato relish. And the eggplant alla Parmigiana is all right, too.
