If you have a background as an administrator and would like to use your expertise to help others on Long Island, the Community Computer Connections Program (CCCP) has an opening for a volunteer coordinator.

CCCP has provided nearly 3,000 free, refurbished computers to low-income families and seniors on Long Island. The coordinator's role is to oversee and help administer the program and its 40 volunteer workers who update the computers and distribute them. Technical knowledge of computers is not necessary.

CCCP estimates the coordinator will work about 30 hours a month, and most of the work can be done at home, by phone or email.

For more information, call 631-979-9490, ext. 20, or send an email to cccp.coordinator@gmail.com.
