Expo for blind and visually impaired coming to Bellport

If you or a loved one is suffering from significant vision loss, a free expo may give you the tools and expertise you need for independent living.

"See for Yourself: 2014 Assistive Technology and Resource Fair" at the Suffolk Cooperative Library System on the north service road of Sunrise Highway in Bellport, brings together vendors and exhibitors who will display the latest devices that can make life easier for the blind and visually impaired. Among the hardware and software to be displayed are reading machines, magnification devices and computers and computer programs that can "speak" written words. The exhibitors will offer information along with demonstrations of their products and answer questions about them.
