Long Island in summer is alive with free outdoor concerts, and over the next week there are some with special appeal to the Act 2 generation:

WEDNESDAY, JULY 22

The Concerts at Grant Park series in Hewlett presents a tribute to Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, 7 p.m. (nwsdy.li/grantpark).

FRIDAY, JULY 24

The Encounters and Stan Zizka perform hits of the 1950s and early '60s at Harry Chapin Lakeside Theatre at Eisenhower Park in East Meadow, 7 p.m. (nwsdy.li/lakeside).

SUNDAY, JULY 26

The 10th Annual Huntington Folk Festival (nwsdy.li/folk), an all-day event at Heckscher Park on Main Street. Festival starts at 10:30 a.m., but headline attraction Tom Paxton goes on about 8:30 p.m.

That same day, Summer Concerts on the Stony Brook Village Green presents an evening of jazz and swing music performed by Edward de Corsia and New York's Most Dangerous Big Band, 7 p.m. (wmho.org).
