Whether it's boccie or bowling, tossing darts or tossing footballs, Long Island's athletes 50 and older can flex their muscles at the annual Long Island Senior Games.

The games, which kick off Monday, feature more than 50 activities. Most events will be held June 1 and 2 at Half Hollow Hills High School West in Dix Hills.

The registration fee is $35, which covers as many basic competition events as you want to enter. For seniors 80-89, the fee is $15, and anyone 90 or older can register for free. There are added charges for billiards ($8); bowling ($8); golf ($40); and pitch and putt ($9).

Registration deadline for billiards and pitch and putt is Monday. Deadline to register for all other events is Wednesday.
