Whether you're a fan of jazz, swing, oldies, folk or bluegrass -- or just green grass -- the Summer Concerts on the Green series in Stony Brook has something for you.

The free, weekly concert series sponsored by the Ward Melville Heritage Organization, an annual summer event in its 33rd year, kicks off Sunday at 7 p.m., with country music from Six Gun Band.

Concerts feature local artists, with participants from the Long Island's Got Talent competition on each show. Concerts are held at the Stony Brook Village Center. Bring a lawn chair or a blanket to sit on the grass.
