Former *NSYNC star Joey Fatone is hosting "My Family Recipe Rocks" on the Live Well Network, where he visits families in their homes and asks them to share their favorite family recipe.

As a father of two daughters, Briahna, 12 and Kloey, 3, Fatone spends a lot of time in the kitchen, preparing family-friendly recipes when he's not on the road. I recently caught up with him about his family, TV show and how he balances it all. Here's what he had to say:

Q. Can you tell me more about your show "My Family Recipe Rocks"? What inspired you to work on this project?
"It's a show where we go into real kitchens with real people and break down their recipes that have been handed down from generation to generation, or a new dish they whipped up. And I was inspired to work on this project so that I can learn new dishes that other families and cultures make."

Q. What is your family's favorite recipe?
"Meatballs and sauce, which my dad taught me how to make."

Q. Are you the cook in your family?
"My wife and I both are."

Q. Do Briahna and Kloey help you out in the kitchen?
"Briahna does, and I'm sure Kloey will start helping out soon."

Q. What are some of their favorite foods/meals?
"They both love a chicken that my wife and I make. It's a simple recipe using Parmesan cheese and paprika, and then baking it."

Q. What are some of your favorite things to do as a family?
"We go to the park. We also love theme parks like Disney. We watch movies and play board games."

Q. Any advice for parents looking to create healthy meals the whole family will love?
"Look at cookbooks and experiment on what you like. Go out of your comfort zone with trying different dishes."

Q. Anything else coming up with *NSYNC?
"No, not happening."

Q. You've done so much in your career -- "Dancing with the Stars," movie and TV roles, voicing characters on Disney. What's up next for you?
"Focusing on my family and hosting another season of "My Family Recipe Rocks."
