An 81-year-old East Quogue man was killed and four others were injured in a two-vehicle accident in Center Moriches, police said.

Edward Goering, who was pronounced dead at the scene, was a passenger in a car driven by Florence Soah, 67, of Hampton Bays.

Soah was driving a 2006 Ford Taurus on Frowein Road and attempted to make a left turn at the intersection of Railroad Avenue at 3 p.m., police said.

Her car was struck by a 1999 Chevrolet Blazer, driven by Johanna Forney, 17, of Eastport, police said.

Soah, Forney and two 15-year-old passengers in Forney's vehicle were taken by ambulance to Brookhaven Memorial Medical Center, where they were listed in stable condition, police said.

Seventh Squad detectives were investigating the crash.
