Spend some time in the Plaza Hotel's Royal Plaza Suite, which ABC News reports is valued at $30,000 a night. With three bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, views overlooking Fifth Avenue and 24-carat gold plated bathroom fixtures, $425 million could get you quite the extended stay there for 14,166 days.
TAKE A SUB-ORBITAL SPACE RIDE
Sign up for a sub-orbital ride on Virgin Galactic’s SpaceShipTwo. Priced at $200,000, according to Wired, you could theoretically float weightlessly for a few minutes 2,125 times.
OFFER TO BUY SOME HOCKEY TEAMS Valued at $155 million by Forbes in 2012, the New York Islanders are now well within your price range. While your at it, you could throw in the Phoenix Coyotes and the St. Louis Blues, which are worth $134 million and $130 million, respectively.
