Antiquated gas pumps offer sub-$4-a-gallon price breaks
Some Long Island drivers are turning back the clock, taking advantage of a price break caused by antiquated gas pumps that can't charge them more than $3.99 a gallon.
These pumps don't have digital displays. They have mechanical ones, similar to an older car's odometer, which must be changed by hand.
And the folks who run these stations can't change the dollar figure from 3 to 4.
