A pedestrian struck and killed on Nicolls Road in Stony Brook Tuesday night was identified Thursday as a Stony Brook University student.

Shubo Lin, 20, who lived in off-campus student housing near the accident site, was struck by at least three vehicles near South Drive, the entrance to the university's hospital. Lin was pronounced dead at the scene.

No charges were filed against any of three motorists that police said were involved in the accident. Investigators said they are continuing their investigation. Additional motorists may have been unaware that they struck Lin in the roadway around, 9:05 p.m., police said.
