Cradle of Aviation's Egg Drop contest

More than 500 students from Long Island schools took part in the Cradle of Aviation's annual Egg Drop Competition on March 13, 2014. The students used devices they had created that would protect their eggs from a drop of at least 20 feet off a balcony at the Garden City museum; and to be a winner, the egg had to survive the fall.
