Nassau County police are investigating an armed robbery in Roosevelt early Monday in which two gunman took cash from a cabdriver.

Police said the cabdriver, 28, was dispatched to Elmwood Avenue at about 1:50 a.m. to pick up a fare.

While parked on the corner of Oakwood Place and Elmwood Avenue, the car was approached by two men.

One man opened the driver’s side door, displayed a black handgun and demanded money, police said in a news release.

The second man got into the back seat and placed a hard object — believed to be a handgun — against the driver’s head, the release said.

The cabbie gave them an unspecified amount of cash and the subjects fled east on Elmwood Avenue.

The driver was not injured, police said.
