3 NYPD cops wounded in 2 shootouts; 1 suspect killed

Three NYPD officers were wounded and a gunman was killed Thursday night in two separate shootings within an hour, one in a Brooklyn subway station and the other during a foiled robbery in the Bronx, police said.
Only two officers were hospitalized, none with life-threatening injuries, police officials said.
