WHITE PLAINS - The alleged Monroe Madam gave her first tearful interview today from inside the Rikers Island correctional facility. Anna Gristina spoke with NBC's 'Today Show' in an exclusive interview. The mother of four has been behind bars since February, and she says it has been devastating for her family. Gristina is pleading not guilty to charges she ran a high-end prostitution ring in Manhattan's Upper East Side. She insists she wasn't running a brothel, but instead trying to start a matchmaking service like Match.com. She says she feels prosecutors want to keep her behind bars until she cooperates, but insists she has no information for them. This week, a judge lowered Gristina's bail down to $250,000, from $2 million.Bail lowered for accused 'Monroe Madam''Monroe Madam' tries to raise bail moneyMonroe mom accused of running NYC prostitution ring
