A Queens man who police said drove in excess of 100 mph and led police on a high-speed chase on the Long Island Expressway on Wednesday night before he crashed was arraigned Thursday on several charges.
A Suffolk Highway Patrol officer initiated the two-minute pursuit when he saw David C. Thompson, 32, of Far Rockaway, driving recklessly, said Lt. Daniel Meyer of Suffolk Highway Patrol.
