Cops: Roosevelt man stabbed girlfriend in her head
A Roosevelt man was arrested Tuesday and charged with stabbing his girlfriend in the head last week, sending her to the hospital where she received 1,000 stitches, Nassau police said.
Ronny Legette, 45, of 137 Steven St., is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday on a first-degree assault charge and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon in First District Court in Hempstead.
