A Great Neck man was arrested and charged with vehicular manslaughter and driving while intoxicated in the death of a Jericho man who was struck and killed early Saturday while walking along the Long Island Expressway in Queens, the NYPD said.

Officers responding to a call of a pedestrian struck on the LIE near Little Neck Parkway at 4:24 a.m. said they found Jordan Savvides, 22, with severe body trauma.

Savvides was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency medical service personnel, police said.

After an investigation, police determined that Savvides had been walking along the LIE when he was hit by a vehicle driven by Christian Ludlow, 69.
