THE BRONX - Some young Bronx students are taking their request for stronger gun control laws straight to the White House.

Students from P.S. 75 are writing letters directly to President Barack Obama about their safety concerns in the wake of the Newtown massacre.

The Obama Administration has launched an effort to create new policies aimed at preventing another school shooting. He says those policies will be outlined during his State of the Union address in January.
