Nassau County police charged a man with murder in the "targeted" killings of his mother, sister and a third woman in Hempstead, officials said Saturday, Aug. 12, 2017. Police said the three women were found dead from "blunt force trauma" at a home on Perry Street about 2:15 a.m. Wendy Simpson, mother of Janel Simpson, one ot the victims, said she forgives Bobby Vanderhall, 34, who was accused in the attacks.     (Credit: Jim Staubitser)
