Passengers rob cabdriver's taxi in Roosevelt
Four men who got into a taxi in Freeport to get a lift to nearby Roosevelt instead took the cabbie's ride, police said Tuesday morning.
Upon reaching their destination Monday night, one of the men grabbed the cabdriver by the throat and forced him out of the taxi, Nassau police said. Then he and his three friends stole the cab, police said.
