A man delivering pizza in Freeport was robbed early Sunday, with three men making off with his car and iPhone, Nassau County police said.

The robbery occurred after the 52-year-old victim, an employee of Domino’s Pizza in Freeport, arrived at a Virginia Avenue residence at 1:10 a.m. to make a delivery, police said.

After the victim got out of his vehicle, a white 2013 Toyota Camry, he saw an unknown man run from across the street and get into the driver’s seat of the Camry, according to police.

As the victim ran back toward the car, he was grabbed around the neck by a second man, while a third man got into the vehicle, police said.

The second man then released the victim and jumped into the car, which then drove south on Virginia Avenue, turning right onto Wilson Place, police said.
