Teaching assistant arrested on child porn charges
A third-grade teaching assistant at a Merrick school faces felony charges after New York State Police investigators found pornographic video and images of children on his computer, authorities said.
Timothy Holt, 44, of Baldwin, worked at the Birch Elementary School in Merrick, police said.
He also was a part-time earth science teacher at two private schools in Queens.
