Teen charged in robbery of cell phone in Elmont
An Elmont teen was arrested in the strong-arm robbery of a Sidekick cell phone from another teen early Tuesday, Nassau police said.
Emmanuel Joachim, 17, of 117th Avenue, is accused of taking the phone from the victim, 16, in the rear parking lot of Western Beef at 1717 Dutch Broadway, Elmont.
