Three men were arrested Friday after their vehicle was stopped on a Uniondale street and drugs and a gun were found inside, police said.
Luis S. Arguello, 20, was driving a 2002 Nissan Altima on Park Place with passengers Dashaun L. Davis, 18, and Dillan Campbell, 20, when First Precinct officers from Nassau County police halted the sedan and conducted a search, police said in a news release.
The officers found marijuana and a baby bottle containing liquid prescription codeine inside the car, and a loaded .32 caliber revolver in the trunk, according to the news release.DataGun crime numbersSee alsoRecent LI mug shotsDataLI crime stats
The three men, all of Uniondale, were arrested without incident just after 5 p.m., police said.
Arguello was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of a firearm and two counts of unlawful possession of marijuana, the news release states.
Davis was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and Campbell was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.
The three are to be arraigned Saturday at First District Court in Hempstead.
