LI jobs: winning and losing sectors in December

The private education and health services sectors helped Long Island's nonfarm job level rise by 17,300 in December over the same period last year, according to figures released by the state's Labor Department. Education and health services led the gainers, up 10,200 from the year before. Click on the trend lines below for details on the 10 sectors going back to 1990.
